Executive Trailer
The Diamondback Motorcycle Trailer can be purchased as a "basic" model which includes 12" tires on white spoke wheels. All Diamondbacks now come with polished aluminum fenders (see pics below) which make them even better looking! You can ad the chrome upgrade or even a custom wheel upgrade as shown in the pictures. The chrome upgrade includes 13" chrome wheels and 13" radial tires! A 12" spare tire can also be added. This spare mounts under the trailer out of site. (Note: The 12" spare is used even when the 13" upgrade is ordered. The spare should be used simularly to the spare on your new car, the "donut" spare is used to get you to a place to have the normal tire repaired).
Made from aluminum diamond tread plate, the Diamond Back single trailer weighs just 350 pounds. The sleek shiny trailer is low profile and very popular for the person who wants a stable trailer, and one that will show off the motorcycle.
This trailer features a unique tilt-lock mechanism that is adjustable to accomodate different hitch heights. Located toward the front of the main pan, this mechanism raises up as the bed is tilted in preparation for loading. The tilt-lock mechanism stabilizes the main bed to the tongue. This stabilization prevents the trailer from flipping up under the motorcycle as it is loaded. Once the motorcycle is ridden up the bed, the front wheel trips the tilt-lock and releases it to enable the bed to be lowered. The shock dampening system eases the bed down to hauling position. No more slamming trailer beds! The front rock guards will help protect the motorcycle from road splash and rocks. The attached loading ramp makes it easy to load by riding the motorcycle onto the trailer.
The single trailer is shipped 80% pre-assembled for your convienence! The trailer is packaged on a pallet with the tires/fenders removed, and the lights in a box to avoid freight damage. Now you only have minutes worth of items before you're ready to tow your bike to the next rally! (Due to the pre-assembled status, we now ship via motor freight line. Because of this it's necassary that we either ship it to a business address, or to a freight terminal close to you for "customer pick up". These freight lines are normally open 24/7 which allows you to pick it up on your schedule).
